Suspected Ritualists Machete Elderly Woman To Death In Delta

 In Ughelli- Olomoro community, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, an elderly woman was slain by suspected ritualists.

According to Vanguard, the dead was resting at her home in the Ukoli part of the village when she was matcheted to death.

According to Naija News, the elderly woman, who was in her eighties, was discovered in a pool of her own blood

According to the publication, a boy was implicated in the woman's death when police discovered her handbag in his possession.

"A woman was killed this morning, and the community is accusing a child of killing her because the woman's handbag was discovered in his hands."

"When they saw the sack he was carrying, they beat the child unconscious. During this time, the cops arrived and brought the situation under control."

The woman was killed, but no body parts were missing, according to State Police Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe, who confirmed the occurrence.

He went on to say that her body had been taken to the morgue and that the suspect was a mentally ill person.
